The LSU Tigers are preparing for a deep run of March Madness after being eliminated in the second round of last year’s tournament. Although official bracket is yet to be set, LSU appears to be a lock for this year’s 2022 NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Here’s everything you need to know about LSU’s schedule for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The opening round game will depend on seeding and LSU region.

One of the best programs in recent college basketball history, this will mark LSU’s 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. The Tigers await their final and regional classification which will be announced on the Sunday of the selection.

The opening round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament is scheduled to take place Thursday, March 17 through Friday, March 18.

Official seeding has yet to be announced for the NCAA Tournament. This section will be updated based on the results of Sunday’s draft and the official 2022 March Madness bracket reveal. Currently, bracketology projects the Tigers to be a No. 6 seed.
