Kentucky Wildcats Basketball vs Dominican Republic Time, TV Channel, Online Stream, List

The Kentucky Wildcats will announce their preseason trip to the Bahamas on Wednesday night when they take on the Dominican Republic National Selection Team.

The selection team will be made up of members of the Dominican Republic’s national basketball program who are under the age of 22.

This will be the first opportunity for the BBN to get a glimpse of the squad for 2022-23 and what we can expect this season.

When the team speaks, there will be a few things the BBN should look for.

Obviously, we’re all excited to see the new faces and what 5-star freshmen Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston, the late Adou Thiero and transfer Antonio Reeves will bring this season.

New faces aside, there’s been a lot of talk in the offseason about Jacob Toppin and the impact he can have this season. Therefore, Toppin is someone we should be watching to see what a senior season of him can bring.

Another thing to watch is finally seeing Iowa transfer CJ Fredrick speak for the Cats. Fredrick missed all of last season with a hamstring injury, and we’ve yet to see what the marksman can do.

Fredrick is a career 47% three-point shooter and watching him step up and see what he can add from the perimeter will be interesting to see.

Finally, one of the most exciting things to watch on Wednesday is the return of Oscar Tshiebwe, the reigning National Player of the Year, to the pitch. It will also be interesting to see how well we see Tshiebwe playing on the perimeter after some chatter in the offseason about his exit to the three-point line.

Here’s how you can watch the Cats’ opener on their trip to the Bahamas in 2022.
