Xbox console owners now have another streaming option for movies and TV shows. IMDb TV has just launched for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. IMDb TV is a free streaming service with thousands of movies and TV shows. The service is free, although it does contain ads, which is a fair trade-off for free content.

IMDb TV has a lineup that includes both original content and popular titles like Mad Men, Chicago Fire, Schitt’s Creek, and Ender’s Game.

Here’s the app’s description, as it appears on its apps list:

IMDb TV is a free streaming video service with thousands of Hollywood movies and TV shows available anytime. You can watch the biggest blockbuster movies. Enjoy popular TV shows like Mad Men, Chicago Fire and Lost. Stream exciting IMDb TV originals like Alex Rider. Plus, IMDb TV is constantly updating its library, so check back each month for new hit movies and shows. There’s content for everyone, including comedy, family, romance, thriller, sci-fi, documentaries, horror and more. We’re redefining free entertainment by bringing you thousands of premium video titles for free. No paid subscription required. Install the free app on your Xbox and enjoy the entertainment.

Although IMDb TV is free, it is also exclusive to the United States.

Microsoft’s Xbox family of consoles has a growing library of media apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, HBO, Spotify, and more. IMDb is another welcome addition to the console streaming family.
